Brandy Mohn, LCSW, CPS-MH, CCTP-II
Brandy, an expressive arts therapist and peer specialist, channels the transformative power of creativity into healing and personal growth. Now offering Expressive Arts & Creative Wellness services at The Creative Alternative, Brandy brings over 17 years of experience working with children, youth, and adults in education, youth development, and mental health.
Brandy’s clinical focus is on complex trauma, life changes, depression, and anxiety. Drawing from her own journey through the foster care system, she understands the limitations of traditional talk therapy and advocates for creative therapeutic approaches.
Brandy co-founded a nonprofit organization focused on the promotion of creative and contemplative practices as mental health practices, Minds Eye Connections, with artists Rhonda Miller and Marylane Wimberly. She takes much of her inspiration from over seven years of living and traveling in Asia, Eastern philosophy, the sensory experiences of nature, and a love of birds & music.
